This is southwest France, a region of beautiful landscapes, lazy afternoons and good food...
Our village, Marsac, is in a small part of Gascony called Lomagne.
It is the birthplace of such characters as Dartagnan, one of the Muketeers and Pierre de Fermat, the mathematician.
Beautiful villages in the area include Auvillar, Moissac, Lauzerte, Auch, Lectoure...
It is the region of bastides - fortified cities of the middle ages - and pigeonniers.
